Tree Care for Rogers Properties

Home Grove runs regular crews into Rogers and the rest of Benton County. Pleasant Grove, Pinnacle Hills, the Beaver Lake shoreline, downtown, and the older residential streets between are all on our weekly map.

Rogers yards run heavy on black oak, post oak, sweetgum, hickory, dogwood, redbud, sycamore, and persimmon. Lakefront properties around Beaver Lake add cedars, pines, and hillside, limited-access trees that need a climber, not a bucket truck.

Because we schedule Rogers work in full days, you get the whole crew, not a rushed visit on the way to somewhere else. Estimates are free, in person, and typically booked within a few days of the first call.

What Rogers Homeowners Should Know

A few things we get asked about every week. Worth knowing before you call anyone.

Lean direction, deep cracks at the trunk, dead limbs at the canopy top, mushroom growth at the base, or exposed root flare are signs of structural decline. A clear lean toward your home or large dead branches above a regularly used area is worth an inspection before the next storm.
Ice loads break weak branches and can split mature trees down the trunk. After an ice event, look for hangers (broken branches caught in the canopy), bark wounds where limbs tore, and any new lean. These are all repairable if caught early.
Trees on the hills around Beaver Lake have shallower roots and more wind exposure than inland trees. They need more frequent inspection and structural pruning. Removals on steep grade require climbing and rigging, not bucket access.
Oak decline, sweetgum limb drop in summer heat, cedar blight on shoreline cedars, and Bradford pear splitting in wind are the most common things we see in Rogers and the surrounding area.
A tree with one bad limb is usually a pruning job. A tree with structural decay through the main trunk, significant root damage, or that has already partially failed is usually a removal. We do not push removals when a tree can be safely kept.
Pruning is best in late winter through early spring before bud break. Removals can happen year round. Storm and ice work is always now.
